If we do not change our dietary habits we will never be able to lose our belly fat. I believe it is probably the most important aspect of getting those ripped abs. If you actually want to be able see your abs under that fat belly you are going to have to change your diet. I am not talking about some strict diet where you are hungry all the time simple a change in your lifestyle habits of eating. It has worked miracles for my wife and me.

2. Secondly we began doing some exercises. Neither one of us are spring chickens any more so we had to be a little limited in our workout programs. However, once we learned the proper way to exercise the belly fat began to slowly disappear. Make sure you get a physicians recommendation before you start a rigid exercise program. The last thing you need is some type of physical problems to interfere with getting your flat stomach. No kidding regardless of your age you can find the flexible workout program and home gym that will work for you.

It also includes how sedentary or active your job is, and whether you fidget a lot or sit still. There is a good basic equation that takes your activity level into account and recommends caloric intake based upon how active you are. This equation is called the Harris-Benedict equation.
