<p>Gallup surveys indicate that approximately 42%, or an estimated 96 million, of the people in the U.S. were dieting during 2008.  Of those people, approximately 56 million were attempting to lose weight and 40 million were attempting to maintain their weight. The Calorie Control Council, in its latest survey of Americans? consumption of low-cal foods and beverages, found that 54% of adults were on a diet in 2010. This was a major increase from 33% in 2004, and was the highest percentage recorded since 1986.  </p>

<p>Based on these findings, plus the current U.S. adult population of 225 million people, we feel it?s time to revise the number of dieters substantially upward. Consequently, Marketdata estimates that the number of American dieters in 2012 has risen to 108 million. But, not ALL of these additional dieters will turn to a structured weight loss program. &#13;<br />
<br />?We feel that in 2012 we will be in an environment of ?a rising tide lifts almost all ships?. Medical as well as commercial programs should benefit and see increased enrollments, gaining strength sequentially as the unemployment rate continues to decline. 80%, or 86 million dieters, will try to do it themselves?, according to John LaRosa.</p>

   The total U.S. weight loss market is forecast to grow 4.5% to $  65 billion (stronger than the 2% growth last year).&#13;</p>
<p>   With the deep and prolonged recession, we feel that more people have turned to lower-priced fast food and comfort food, and have gained more weight than during previous recessions. Thus, they are expected to stay on weight loss programs longer in order to reach their goal weight.&#13;</p>
<p>   Commercial weight loss center chains? revenues are forecast to grow 5.5% to $  3.6 billion on the strength of increased business at Weight Watchers, Medifast, Jenny Craig, and NutriSystem, boosted by their strong advertising campaigns featuring Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson.&#13;</p>
<p>   Multi-level marketing (MLM) channels will continue to do well, including diet products sold by Herbalife, Medifast and others.&#13;</p>
<p>   The men?s weight loss market is forecast to be worth $  10.4 billion, representing 16% of the total market, as more emphasis is placed on them by the major diet companies.&#13;</p>
<p>   Medical weight loss programs based in doctor?s offices and stand-alone clinics will have higher growth rates and profitability than commercial weight loss centers. Their higher-priced programs will be better able to cover overhead costs.&#13;</p>
<p>   Internet-based diet plans will continue to be popular and Marketdata expects double-digit growth in online revenues for diet websites. WeightWatchers.com is the leader with $  400 million. More do-it-yourself dieters and men will be willing to sign up for this anonymous model (i.e. websites) where no in-person meetings are required. <p>Bacteria<br />Single-celled microorganisms like bacteria have the ability to reproduce through cell-division.  These are minute living organisms that looks like balls, rods, or spirals when seen through the microscope. <p>Viruses<br />Virus, on the other hand, is not a living organism but a capsule that contains genetic materials such as DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) or RNA (ribonucleic acid).  It is not considered a living thing due to its inability to respond to environmental changes which is a characteristic of every living thing.  Compared to bacteria, viruses are much smaller.  They are not self-sufficient and must have a convenient host in order to mutate.  The moment these viruses get to invade your body, they cling to your cells and attack these cells which eventually get damaged during the process.  Examples of viral illnesses are Polio, the dreaded AIDS, and the common cold.</p>
<p>Fungi<br />Fungi are singe-celled organisms that are somewhat bigger than bacteria.  They are found in the air, water, soil and on plants and can live in your body and may not cause any harm.  There are fungi that can be helpful in fighting infectious bacteria.  Penicillin is an antibiotic against bacterial infections derived from fungi.  Some types of fungi can be used in bread-making, cheese and yogurt.   Molds, yeast and mushrooms are types of fungi.  Some mushrooms may be multi-celled organisms and can be seen by the naked eye.  Although mushrooms are not infectious, some yeasts and molds do.  Candida is a yeast that can cause thrush, an infection of the mouth and throat among infants and those who are under antibiotics medication or who are suffering from damaged immune system.  Candida is also responsible for diaper rash.</p>

The headache can be caused by a number of things. I’m not sure why exactly they occur as far as biology and medicine goes, I just know that they are common, annoying, and super prevalent. Here is a list of things that can cause one of those horribly painful headaches that make you want to end your suffering for good.</p>
<p>1. Staring at a computer screen all day under fluorescent lighting.</p>
<p>2. A <noindex><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://cgscollc.com/goto/http://www.trainhorns.net/" target="_blank" >Train Horn</a></noindex> being honked within 10-15 feet of you.</p>
<p>3. Reading all day.</p>
<p>4. Writing all day.</p>
<p>5. Playing too much video games.</p>
<p>6. Watching too much television.</p>
<p>7. Talking too much on your cell phone or falling asleep on the phone.</p>
<p>8. Temperature changes in the air.</p>
<p>9. Sleeping in room full of dust, mold, rust, or signs of asbestos.</p>
<p>10. Eating too much ice cream.</p>
<p>11. Not eating anything all day.</p>
<p>12. Exposing yourself to headphones and speakers for a long period of time.</p>
<p>13. Going to a heavy metal concert.</p>
<p>14. Dealing with incessant baby cries.</p>
<p>15. Getting hit in the head hard.</p>
<p>16. Getting hit in the head or body frequently.</p>
<p>17. Suffering from a brain tumor.</p>
<p>18. Being cross-eyed.</p>
<p>19. Lack of sleep.</p>
<p>20. Too much caffeine.</p>
<p>21. Sniffing intoxicating gases.</p>
